Pre-Order Policy

Pre-order with confidence

Pre-orders allow you to secure upcoming products before their official release. We know waiting for a new set, game or model can be exciting, so we aim to make the process as straightforward as possible.

Please read the information below before placing a pre-order with AFK Gaming.

Payment

Payment is taken in full when you place your pre-order.

This reserves your order against the stock we expect to receive from our suppliers.

Where quantities are limited, products are available on a first-come, first-served basis while our available allocation lasts.

Release Dates

Release dates are based on the latest information available to us from publishers, distributors and manufacturers.

Occasionally, release dates can change for reasons outside our control.

If a product is delayed, your pre-order will remain active and we'll fulfil it as soon as the stock becomes available.

Product Allocations

For particularly popular releases, manufacturers or distributors may allocate retailers less stock than originally requested.

We do our best to only offer quantities that we reasonably expect to receive. However, supplier allocations can sometimes change after pre-orders have been placed.

If we're unable to fulfil your order because our allocation has been reduced, we'll contact you as soon as possible and explain the options available, including a refund where we cannot supply the product.

We will never substitute a different product without your agreement.

Orders Containing Pre-Order and In-Stock Products

If you purchase in-stock products and pre-order products in the same order, your entire order may be held until all items are available for dispatch.

If you would like your in-stock products dispatched immediately, we recommend placing them as a separate order.

This is particularly important when an order contains products with different release dates.

Multiple Pre-Order Release Dates

If your order contains several pre-order products due for release on different dates, the order will normally be dispatched once all products are available.

For the fastest delivery, we recommend placing separate orders for products with different release dates.

Dispatch

We aim to dispatch pre-orders so that they reach customers as close to the official release date as reasonably possible.

However, release-day delivery cannot be guaranteed. Delivery times can be affected by when stock reaches us, publisher restrictions, courier services and other circumstances outside our control.

Some products may also be subject to specific rules preventing retailers from dispatching them before a particular date.

Collection from Store

If you choose collection, please wait until you have received confirmation that your order is ready to collect before travelling to the store.

Receiving an order confirmation does not necessarily mean the product has arrived with us.

TCG Booster Boxes

Our TCG Booster Box Policy also applies to pre-orders.

All TCG booster boxes supplied by AFK Gaming will have their outer factory seal or shrink wrap opened or removed before collection or dispatch.

Individual booster packs remain sealed and untouched.

We do not make exceptions to this policy, including for pre-ordered products.

Cancelling a Pre-Order

If you change your mind about a pre-order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Your cancellation and refund rights will depend on the circumstances of the order and your applicable consumer rights. Nothing in this policy is intended to limit your statutory rights.

Where a product has already been dispatched, our standard Returns & Refunds Policy will apply.
