There's always something happening.
Whether you're looking for a regular place to play, want to learn something new or you're joining us for a tournament, there's something happening at AFK throughout the week.
We have regular weekly activities, evening club nights and a separate programme of ticketed tournaments, pre-releases and special events. Here's how it all works.
Weekly at AFK
Regular opportunities to learn, build and play. Drop in, get involved and spend some time with the AFK community.
Learn to Play Day
Want to try something new? Tuesday is our dedicated day for learning games, getting started and finding your feet. Whether it's your first tabletop game or you're trying a new system, come in and have a go.
Building Day
Bring along your latest miniatures, Gunpla or hobby project and spend some time building alongside other hobbyists. A relaxed day to work on your latest project and share the hobby.
MTG Focus Day
Fridays put the focus on Magic: The Gathering. Come in for games, deck building and everything Magic before we head into Friday Night Magic in the evening.
Club Nights
Our regular evening gaming sessions. Bring your game, meet other players and get some games in.
Card Game Night
Our regular night for TCG players. Bring your decks, meet other players and find a game.
Wargaming Night
An evening dedicated to miniature wargaming and getting your armies onto the tabletop.
Anything Goes
No particular game or system takes priority. Bring along whatever you fancy playing and get a game going.
Friday Night Magic
Finish the week with Magic: The Gathering and our regular Friday Night Magic community.
Table Usage
Using our gaming tables costs just £3 per person, helping us maintain a dedicated space where the local gaming community can meet and play.
Playing on Monday or Friday?
Instead of paying the £3 table fee, you can simply
buy a booster pack as your entry for the session.
Looking for ticketed events?
Alongside our regular weekly schedule, AFK Gaming hosts tournaments, pre-releases, organised play and other special events throughout the year.
These events have their own listings where you'll find the date, registration and start times, entry requirements, player capacity and everything else you need to know before attending.
Spaces for ticketed events can be limited, so we recommend booking in advance where tickets are available.
